I see this life as an adventure with so many stones to turn over. I’ve spent most of my time going big and learning the foundations of resilience through my own triumphs and failures. Over my career, I studied human behavior and developed people-focused resilience strategies and initiatives to address personal resilience, the climate crisis, natural disasters, socio-economic distress, and building core leadership. I’ve had the privilege of working around the world, advising individuals, communities, institutions, and nations on resilience-building.
At home in Colorado, my cup was filled outdoors rock-climbing, running trails, and charging down rivers. I spent 7 years as an emergency first responder on the Rocky Mountain Rescue Team - learning to operate at the top of my ability in life or death situations, integrate other people’s emergencies into my daily life, and persevere in demanding mountain conditions. I was fully engulfed in this lifestyle until traumatic injuries forced me to change most of what I identified with. I turned inwards, faced my shadow side, and experienced healing.
As uncomfortable as diving deep and ‘doing the work’ is, I’ve found it to be essential to living a full, beautiful, integrated life. I dedicated 4 years to completing an intensive in Qi Gong and another 3 years apprenticing in somatic vocals, songwriting, and performing. The last 15 years of my life have been spent immersed in the teachings of the Hendricks Institute, The Presencing Institute (Theory U), The Art of Hosting, Internal Family Systems, Somatics, Breńe Brown, Stan Tatkin, and Byron Katie. I trained in Coaching for Transformation with Leadership the Works, India and I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Coach.
Building resilience creates powerful shifts in how we experience our lives and our capacity to show up in our greatness. One of the best rewards of my work is to see my clients emerge from their core Self and exist in the world embodied and empowered.

My Approach
Philosophy
I believe we each have our own unique personal ecosystem from which we operate. And that it dictates how we relate to and experience life. It’s historic in origin—created by our early family systems, environment, and experiences - and further shaped throughout our lives by our interactions in the world. It’s made up of our thoughts, feelings, processes, and conscious and unconscious beliefs and behaviors. Through understanding our personal ecosystem and how it affects our lives, we build awareness that introduces choice for us in a more true and beneficial way. As we integrate this new orientation alongside resilience-building practies we are enabled to create lasting change in our lives, and therefore, the lives of those around us.
The heart of my practice draws from the fields of Resilience, Transformational Coaching, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Somatic Practices, and Neuroscience Psychology. My foundation in change theory and systems resilience directly influences my approach to long-term change and guides my application of specific processes, tools, and techniques.
The cornerstone of my work is The 7 Qualities of Resilience; a group of key defining attributes of personal resilience. It was built on 30+ years of collective research, ideation, and on-the-ground practice alongside my 20+ years of growth and development work.
COACHING approach
I support my clients in befriending their nervous system and as they build a deeper understanding of their personal ecosystem and the dynamics they are a part of. By identifying and directing both adaptive and maladaptive patterns, processes, and behaviors at their root, we are enabled to create beneficial and long-lasting shifts in our personal growth and development.
We’ll work together as partners through the entire experience. I bring compassion, intentionality, and non-judgment to the relationship to co-create a healthy learning and growth space. We’ll flow dynamically with your individuality and emerging needs, and bring awareness to your everyday experience of life as we unpack, integrate, and compel you into action.
Your coaching experience will be unique to you - designed around your needs and a combination of Transformational Processes, Resilience Frameworks, and Somatic Practices. I track the overall coaching experience to maintain the big-picture view of what’s important to you so you can focus on what’s relevant in the present moment. Along the way, we’ll have regular check-ins to assess & adapt so we can stay on target together to meet your long-term and emerging needs.
